Contine Penick is an interdisciplinary artist from Fort Worth, Texas currently based in Chicago. She works in a variety of media, including book making, collage, and photography. In her work she likes to examine the relationship of folklore, storytelling and memory, both in the collective sense as well as on the individual level, and how it overlaps with other concerns such as mortality and impermanence.
